I'm on the Grinch's side.

I'm in a VERY BAD MOOD today. The reasons I'm in such a VERY BAD MOOD are many. For my own sanity, I'm going to make a list. Also for my own sanity, I'm going to publish my list. So,

Reasons why Andrea is in a VERY BAD MOOD

1. It was my sister Isabel's birthday yesterday and I didn't get any cake, even though I was standing over it and salivating on it (in a non-literal manner, of course) for around two hours. She had her friends over last night, and between them they ate about 2/3 of the cake. This morning I went downstairs at 10:25 and there was NO CAKE left.

2. It is particularly unfair that I didn't get any cake, because I had to wait half a year before my Mom got around to making vereneke (what I always ask for on my birthday) and the aforementioned sister thought it was fair to feed ALL OF THE LEFTOVER ONES to her boyfriend, on the basis that he's half-Russian. She left me around six or seven, the last two of which DISAPPEARED while I was on the phone.

3. I bought a vanilla ice cream yesterday, except I gave it to some kid who was about four years old and looked like he probably sleeps on a bench in a park every night huddled up under some newspapers or something. When I looked in my backpack, I discovered that I hadn't brought my wallet, so I COULDN'T GET ANOTHER ICE CREAM.

4.When I got home, I discovered that I HAD, IN FACT, BROUGHT MY WALLET and that it had simply been hiding under a bunch of garbage in the wallet-pocket. Said garbage has been terminated.

5. On Sunday, I LOST MY CELL PHONE. My father refused to replace said cell phone with a new one, and instead gave me his old one, which is ugly and slow and changes all sent messages to "Hi, we are all at Perisur [that's a shopping mall]. Want to join us for lunch later? -this is Mom on Dad's phone".

6. "Mom, can I have a hermit crab?"
"NO."

7. "Mom, can I have a turtle?"
"NO."

8. If I want to upgrade my iPod Touch to give it applications that it should already have or that don't work in my country, I HAVE TO GIVE APPLE $20.

9. I DON'T HAVE $20.

10. My [other] sister said she would make me some soup two hours ago. I DON'T HAVE ANY SOUP YET AND I'M GETTING HUNGRY.

11. Kurt Cobain DIED on April 5th, 14 years ago today. That SUCKS.
